There’s a chance for members of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce to enjoy the Halloween season next Wednesday.

The Knoxville Chamber will be hosting a Halloween open house on Wednesday, October 31st from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at their offices.

Hannah Vander Veer is Director of the Knoxville Chamber; she tells KNIA/KRLS News it’s a casual get-together for members, on a day that’s usually a light one for many businesses.

“We always know that a Halloween work day might be a little bit more fun than a usual work day; so we just wanted to provide an opportunity for members of the Chamber, employers and employees,” Vander Veer says. “If they want to come out, stop by the Chamber office, we’ll have some apple cider and some Dinky Donuts…just kind of an excuse to stretch your legs, get out of the office for a little bit and just enjoy Halloween.”

Vander Veer says much like other Chamber gatherings,it’s a valuable opportunity to get to know each other and establish business relationships.
