A recycling company has been contracted by Marion County.

At a special meeting on Monday morning, the Marion County Board of Supervisors approved a contract with Tomorrow’s Resources for recycling; the company will be cleaning up a property in the county, a matter which has been pending for decades.

The contract is for $29,200; it will take effect next Monday, as soon as some final paperwork verifying its insurance policy is turned in to the county.

In other matters involving the county, two roads will be cut back to one lane while concrete patching is in progress.

Old Highway 92 from T15 to 175th Place and T17 from Old Highway 92 to New Highway 92 will each have one-lane traffic for about two weeks.
