The South Central Conference Cross Country Meet is Thursday, and the Knoxville Girls are looking to win back-to-back titles. Coach Michael Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls have been right in the mix during the season with many of the conference teams that are looked at as being at the top on Tuesday, while the boys have a plan to help Knoxville move up a spot. What Splavec is hoping for is his guys break up the Albia and Davis County packs and steal away some points. Clarke is the host school this year, and the varsity race is scheduled to get underway at four-30 on Thursday.
