While the Knoxville Football Squad is not continuing its season, the Partners know they have one of the top defensive players in the district. Ben Olson ended with 71.5 tackles this season, 57 were solo, which led class 3A District seven. Olson also had the second most overall tackles for loss if you combine the solo tackles and tackle assists with 12 just behind his teammate Kyle Ramsey, who had a total of 13.5. If you combined all of 3A for the regular season, Olson’s 71.5 tackles ranked ninth overall. Coach Eric Kellar tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he is excited about Olson and Ramsey returning next season. And he has a message for the juniors that will be seniors next year. The Panthers finished three-and-six this season.
