The Pleasantville football team went out with a bang last night in their season finale, crushing Woodward-Academy on the road 49-7.

The Trojan offense had its way early and often, as the line led the team right down the field in their opening drive capped off by a five-yard touchdown run by Cael Lester. After an explosive Knight offense tied it up late in the first quarter, Lester gave the Trojans the lead for good on a two yard score. That drive opened the floodgates, as they scored on all but one drive the rest of the way. Cale Anthony got in on the fun with a pair of rushing scores, Lester added one more, and Isaac Mann bulldozed his way to pay dirt. Up big in the fourth the Trojans were able to get a lot of seniors in for the final time in their career. The cherry on top of the night was on a one-yard touchdown score by senior Tristan Clark for his first career touchdown in the final moments. Lester closed his career with three touchdowns and 95 yards on the ground. Anthony had the two scores and 84 yards rushing.

Pleasantville finished the year 3-6 and bid farewell to eight seniors.
