Twin Cedars was without its starting quarterback Daniel Beary who was out with mono. So Coach Cam Parker had to readjust his line up and it was a nightmare for the Sabers in a 54-to-20 loss to Collins-Maxwell. The game started bad enough with Collins-Maxwell returning the opening kickoff back for a touchdown…then the Sabers fumbled the ensuing kickoff and the Spartans took the ball in for the touchdown…and quickly the Sabers were down 30-to-eight at the end of the first quarter. Twin Cedars is now four-and-five and host A-G-W-S-R next week.
