The Pella Christian football (4-2, 2-0 district) team will try to stay unbeaten in district play when they welcome Colfax-Mingo (4-2, 1-1 district) to Eagle Lane.

The Eagles are coming off of a methodical 35-0 win over Pleasantville last week. In order for the Eagles to continue the winning trend, head coach Rich Kacmarynski tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they must slow down the spread offense attack of the Tigerhawks.

“Several years ago they went to a spread concept and it has worked out well for them. They are well balanced with the run and pass. I think we match up well with them, it’s just a matter of going out and stopping them.”

The Tigerhawks are coming off of a 51-13 loss to Interstate-35 last week. The contest will get started at 6 p.m. tonight at Eagle Lane in Pella. Tune into the KRLS2 Stream at kniakrls.com starting at 5:30 p.m.
