While revenge could be on the minds of the PCM football team Friday night against Williamsburg, the Mustangs aren’t viewing the class 2A quarterfinal matchup as that.

Last year the Raiders ended the Mustangs’ season in the first round of the playoffs winning 18-17. Despite the heartbreak still fresh in PCM’s mind, head coach Greg Bonnett tells KRLS Sports they view the contest as just another game to go out and do their thing.

“We kind of just say anyone, anywhere, anytime. Having said that, I knew we would probably play them again this year. They have a great running back, quarterback, and are physical upfront. I knew they would figure things out after struggling in the early part of the year. It’s game on.”

After falling in each of their first three games the Raiders blew past their district and now sit at 7-3. The winner gets a date in the dome and it all gets started at 7 p.m. Friday in Monroe. Tune into the game on KNIA starting at 6:30 p.m.
