The Knoxville Boys Cross Country Squad finished third at the South Central Conference meet which was their highlight of the season. The Panthers wanted to challenge Chariton. Not only did they challenge the Chargers but beat them by 32 points. Coach Michael Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his depth was key to the Panthers success in the conference. Splavec adds the varsity roster would turn over multiple times this season due to the fact there were about ten guys that could run varsity as any time.
