The Marion County Historical Village will be hosting its annual Festival of Trees this weekend, and an opportunity to take a trip back in time and celebrate Christmas the old-fashioned way.

Each of the historic buildings which make up the village will be decorated for the holiday season, and there will be over 40 decorated trees on display.

Participants can take free tours of the buildings, bid in the silent auction and vote for their favorite decorated tree…by putting a donation in the container by the tree you select.

The festival runs Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Marion County Park; admission is free.
