After a state semifinal appearance last year, the Indianola girls basketball team will have some new faces coming into the 2018-19 season.

Four seniors graduated from the squad, while the team’s second leading scorer transferred to SE Polk, leaving only Kendall Clatt as the team’s only player with varsity court minutes. Clatt averaged 1.9 points per game last season while shooting 26% from long range, and grabbing 43 rebounds. The Indians will look towards Bailey Blake and several other upperclassman to make a difference on this year’s squad. The Indians start their season Tuesday against SE Polk.
