Year one of the Mack Jorth era has come to a close for the Pleasantville football team and so far the first year head coach likes what he sees.

Jorth helped the Trojans to a 3-6 season and to be playing their best ball of the year in the final weeks. He tells KNIA Sports it was a positive year of learning for everyone that should pay off in the future.

“I couldn’t be happier to be experiencing what I am and to be working with the people I am. In your first year at a new school there is always going to be a lot of learning and I learned quite a bit, as did everyone else in the program. I’m excited about what the future holds at Pleasantville.”

Jorth adds the eight seniors made his transition to Pleasantville even more enjoyable.
