The Pleasantville wrestling team gears up for the start of their season next week and they will do so with one ranked wrestler on the squad.

Iowa Wrestling recently released its opening rankings and sophomore Matthew Kauffman is number five at 285 lbs. He is the only underclassman in the top 10 in his weight class. Last year as a freshman, Kauffman won a match at the state tournament in Des Moines and finished with a 33-18 record.

The Trojans open the season November 29th at Pella.
