After an exciting fall sports season for PCM which included a football state championship, tonight the focus turns to winter sports for the Mustangs. Our first PCM broadcast will hit the air, as the Mustangs will host the Saydel Eagles in a boy girl doubleheader.

On the girls side of things the 1-1 Mustangs will look to get above .500 on the early year after a opening season win against Chariton which was followed up by a close home loss to Knoxville. PCM is led by junior Regan Freeland and sophomore Emma George, who are both averaging over 14 points per game. They will look to make it 7 straight wins against the Eagles who haven’t beaten the Mustangs since 2015.

On the boys side the Mustangs will also look to continue their dominance over Saydel after both a 74-7 and 82-36 woodshed beatings a year ago. The Mustangs led by seniors Reed Worth and Andrew Van Ryswyk will hope some confidence and dominating play will carry over from the gridiron to the hardwood. The seniors are coming off a 16-6 season a year ago and would like to take a trip to state in their last year at PCM. All the PCM vs Saydel action can be heard live on kniakrls.com via our KRLS3 stream with pregame set for 5:45 p.m. and tip at 6 p.m.
