It’s no secret that any team that makes a state championship game didn’t get there by accident and is a force to be reckoned with. Not many teams have found a weakness with the PCM football team this year and likewise Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley have had few and far between.

Mustang (12-0) head coach Greg Bonnett tells KRLS Sports what makes the Nighthawks (11-1) so dangerous is being stout on both sides of the ball.

“They are solid on every facet of the game. They are very physical guys and have a lot of length. They have great schemes on offense and defense. We have to do our job, play our hearts out, and if we can do that we are going to be where we want to be.”

The Nighthawks have scored an average of 43 points per game while only giving up 10 per contest. The two teams meet up tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the UNI-Dome for the class 2A state title game. Listen to the broadcast on KNIA starting at 1:30 p.m.
