The Pella City Council will consider a partnership with Historic Pella Trust establishing the Tuttle Cabin Learning Walk at their meeting this week.

A resolution on the agenda would establish the working relationship between the two entities, with Historic Pella Trust planning to fully fund the walkway connecting the Sunken Gardens Windmill and Tuttle Cabin on Lincoln Street. The city would be responsible for constructing, owning, and maintaining the self guided instructional path, which would occupy a vacated city-owned alleyway. If approved, construction could begin mid-2019, and be completed by the fall.

The Pella City Council meets Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Pella Public Safety Complex.
