A Pella Community School District Special Education Teacher received a state award.

Kelsie Sheets received the Friend of Children Award by the Iowa Schools Social Worker’s Association. Kelsie is a special education teacher at the middle school, and organized the annual Night of Stars prom the last two years during the spring through her non-profit organization Launching Arrows.
