In the blink of an eye the winter sports season is upon us and the first peak at the 2018-2019 Pleasantville girls’ basketball team is this week.

The Trojans are coming off of a year where they went 11-12 and lost six players to graduation including leading scorer Kelsee Van Haalen. Pleasantville does bring back key pieces however, including senior Jordan Dursky, who led the team in rebounds with 8.3 per game and the top-returning scorer with 5.7 per contest. Other key returners include Taylor Clark with 34 assists and 24 steals last season while Sydnee McKinney averaged 4 points and 5 rebounds, respectively.

The Trojans open up the year Friday when they travel to Saydel.
