Start Up Storm, a day geared towards visiting entrepreneurial students interested in Simpson College, will be tomorrow.

Students will solve real world problems, meet successful entrepreneurs, and learn what it takes to be more creative and entrepreneurial thinkers and doers. Professor John Walker tells KNIA News visiting students signed up to take part on this day, and that education is trying to embrace that type of growth.

“A lot of starting your own business is jumping in and getting your feet wet, but when you can learn how to do that in the college ranks from an academic standpoint it helps now more so than ever. Entrepreneurship from a learning component is encouraged here, and it’s a part of a lot of college and high school curriculum’s now, and we see it as important to sustaining our economy and future generations.”
