Three people have been arrested in Pleasantville on drug-related charges, and one faces a count of child endangerment for allegedly using those drugs in a child’s presence.

Agents with the Mid Iowa Drug Enforcement task force arrested 59-year-old David Iddings of Pleasantville, along with 40-year-old Tarrah Morris and 43-year-old Selena Bacus, both of Knoxville; these arrests in connection with a search of Iddings’ vehicle and residence on October 9th.

MINE agents had a warrant to carry out the searches; Iddings was reportedly found in possession of methamphetamine, and admitted to officers he had sold it to several people. He also reportedly told agents he had access to a rifle, which as a convicted felon he would not be permitted to do.

Iddings has been in a relationship with Bacus, and her child was in the vehicle; police say he lives in the same residence with them, and that he and Bacus had been smoking meth just ten minutes before officers stopped them.

Morris was with them, and authorities say she was found in possession of both marijuana and meth.

She’s charged with drug possession counts, while Iddings faces counts including possession, a controlled substance violation, possession of a firearm as a felon and child endangerment by exposing the child to meth. Bacus is also charged with possession and child endangerment.

All three have been released on bond.
