The all-district for eight-man district five has been announced. Melcher-Dallas got three players on the first team including Dalton Lovell. Lovell was the leading tacklers for the Saints with 63 including seven for loss. Also making first team was Ethan Harrington. Harrington was the leading receiver with 21 receptions for 420 yards and eight touchdowns. The final member from Melcher-Dallas on the first team was Blaise Cooper. He was the second leading receiver with 24 catches for 320 yards and seven scores. Earning honorable mention were, Coy DeJong, Joe Branson, and Steven Krpan. Twin Cedars got five members on the all-district first team or honorable mention. Tytus Hunt led the Saber in rushing with 1,018 yards and 13 touchdowns. Also getting all-district were, Trenton Reed, who led the Sabers with seven tackles for loss and two sacks. Brock Denburger, Marshall Maple, and Kade Dunkin also made the all-district list. The Sabers went 4-6 this season. The Saints finished with a 4-5 record.
