While the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad won by a healthy margin over Clarke on Tuesday, the game started out unlike the Panthers last two. Knoxville was down by eight points to start off the game but quickly got things pointed in the right direction by the end of the first quarter and gained control of the game. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports while he did not like falling down early, he was happy to see his team respond positively to a bit of adversity. Knoxville heads to Chariton on Friday. The Panthers stand at 4-0 on the season and are #12 in this week’s class 4A rankings.
