Indianola Parks and Recreation and the Iowa Wild are hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the new ice rink at Pickard Park on December 12th.

The ice rink was made possible by a donation from the Iowa Wild and Wells Fargo, and constructed by Indianola Parks and Recreation and filled with water by the Indianola Fire Department. The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting which will take place at 1:30pm. The rink will then be open daily, weather permitting, for hockey from morning until noon, then open skating until dusk.
