It was two loses for the Melcher-Dallas basketball squads last night in Ankeny as the girls fell in a close game 41-38 while the boys lost big 104-37. In the girls game, Emilie Krpan was the leading scorer with 19 points with Kynser Reed chipping in 13. Haley Godfrey grabbed nine rebounds. The boy’s game was a nightmare for the Saints as they fell behind early and never recovered. Ethan Harrington led the Saints with 17 points. The girls are 0-3 while the boys are 0-2. Both Melcher-Dallas teams will host Lamoni on Tuesday.
