Mustang and Trojan Wrestling Hit the Road Tonight

The PCM and Pleasantville wrestling teams get back on the mat tonight traveling for competition.

The Mustangs will battle in a quadrangular meet with Carlisle, Nevada, and North Polk in Nevada. PCM has started the 2018-2019 season on schedule including sweeping a quad on Tuesday at Sigourney. Fresh off of overpowering defenses on the gridiron, the dominance has transferred to the mat for Wes Cummings, as he is off to a quick 5-0 start to the season at 160 lbs. Cody Wallace and Jarron Trausch have been productive with 6-1 starts at 152 lbs and 170 lbs, respectively. The action gets started at 6 p.m. at Nevada High School.

The Trojans gear up for a triangular at Nodaway Valley along with Martensdale-St Marys. Pleasantville went 1-2 on the day at the same meet in Sigourney on Tuesday. Daniel Kenyon has been turning heads at 195 lbs with a 7-1 record. Nolan Ruff and Cael Lester are off to 6-1 starts at 138 lbs and 182 lbs. The contest gets started at 6 p.m. at Nodaway Valley High School.
