The PCM basketball teams traveled to Nevada on Friday night and came home with a split.

The Mustang girls could not recover from a 9-2 deficit at the end of one and fell 41-29. Regan Freland led the way with 15 points. PCM drops to 3-5 on the season.

The boys salvaged the doubleheader split with a 75-54 win. Reed Worth paced the team with 23 points while Andrew Van Ryswyk and Derek Brown each cashed in with 14 points. The Mustangs improve to 4-2 on the year.

The boys have a quick turnaround facing off with Knoxville today while the girls are at Roland-Story Tuesday.
