The PCM basketball teams have a chance for a Heart of Iowa Conference win tonight when they welcome Greene County to Monroe.

The Mustang girls’ (2-4) will try to snap a three game losing skid including a 55-26 defeat at Gilbert on Friday. Head Coach Jeff Lindsay tells KRLS Sports in order to flip the script his team needs to be more consistent offensively. “We need to be more consistent throughout the game getting ourselves good shots. We need to have more crisp movements, distribute the ball better, and connect on passes with better timing.” Greene County is winless on the year at 0-5.

The Mustang boys (2-2) also fell to Gilbert 70-59 on Friday. Head Coach Fred Lorensen says there is no time to dwell. “We have three really good games this week. Our conference is really strong this year and by playing these type of teams we will only get better as the season goes on.” PCM faces a Greene County team that is 3-2 on the young season.

The girls’ game gets started at 6 p.m. tonight at PCM High School. Listen to the doubleheader on the KRLS3 Stream at kniakrls.com starting at 5:45 p.m.
