Pella Middle School recently received a donation to bolster their science classes.

Cargill contributed a new 3D printer to the Project Lead the Way classroom. Teachers Josh McCollam and Susan Lyons tell KRLS News the new technology allows students to explore 3D printing and design more efficiently and with the latest programs many businesses are using now.

David Neumann with Cargill says it’s important for youth to get their hands on these types of projects to get them engaged in science, engineering, and technology.
