The wins may not be racking up yet, but the Pleasantville boys’ basketball team is trending upward, as the first half of the season comes to a close.

The Trojans are 3-6 heading into the winter break, but head coach Joel Allman tells KNIA Sports things are starting to come together.

“If you are a results oriented person you might be disappointed, but we are focused on the process and are starting to get where we need to be. Offensively we are starting to find our flow and make better decisions. Defensively we are having moments where we are playing excellent defense and just need to be more consistent. We continue to view our season as a process.”

Last week the Trojans defeated Interstate-35 and gave a 7-2 Woodward-Granger team all they could handle. Pleasantville will return to action January 4th against Van Meter.
