The Pleasantville wrestling team participated in a loaded 16-team field at Central Decatur for the Dan Christensen Invitational and placed 12th overall.

The Trojans finished with 62 points while MFL-Mar-Mac took home top honors with 218 points. Matthew Kauffman (9-4) was the top Trojan performer placing third at 285lbs going 3-1 on the day with three falls. Other finishes included Daniel Kenyon (11-3) fourth at 195lbs, Drew Bartels (7-7) fifth at 138lbs, Nolan Ruff (10-3) seventh at 132lbs, and Kelly Sautter (4-7) seventh at 182lbs.

Pleasantville next gets on the mat Thursday in a home triangular against Interstate-35 and Moravia.
