The Pleasantville basketball teams defended their home court on Tuesday night defeating Interstate-35 in a pair of games.

The Trojan girls took advantage of a 10-2 lead after the first quarter to roll to a 47-30 win. Jordan Dursky had a monstrous game with 18 points and Sydnee McKinney chipped in with 11. Head Coach Aaron Fichter tells KNIA Sports the difference was the team’s strong defensive effort and getting a lot of players in. Pleasantville improves to 7-3 on the year.

The boys’ team had an exciting 60-56 win over the Roadrunners. Teron Mount paced the Trojans with 19 points and Grant Fouch added 11. The Trojans improve to 3-5.

Both teams close out the 2018 portion of the season Friday at Woodward-Granger.
