The Twin Cedars girls were involved in another close contest and the Sabers were unable to get a win in a 44-41 loss to Moravia. Haley Hoch had another strong double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Coach Trent Verwers told KRLS Sports free throw shooting got his team again going 9/28 from the line. The Saber boys also fell by three to the MoHawks 51-48. Kade Dunkin scored 21 to lead Twin Cedars. The Sabers get a couple days off to prepare for the first confrontation with their arch rival Melcher-Dallas on Friday.
