Both PCM basketball teams seek bounce back wins tonight when they welcome North Polk to town for a Heart of Iowa Conference doubleheader.

The Mustangs girls’ will have their hands full with the number one ranked in class 3A Comets, who are 11-1 on the season. When the two teams met on December 4th North Polk controlled the entire game en route to a 52-33 win. The Mustangs (5-7) will look to respond from a 62-49 defeat of Fairfield on Tuesday.

The Mustang boys (6-4) will look for their first win of 2019 and hope history repeats itself, as they downed the Comets 78-52 on the road in their first meeting. North Polk is 3-8 on the season.

The doubleheader gets underway at 6 p.m. tonight in Monroe.
