Knoxville Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a car fire at 6:09 South 7th Street shortly before 4:00 this afternoon. The car was parked very close to a home, and firefighters were able to put out the fire quickly. There were no reports of injuries. The Knoxville Police Department assisted at the scene.
