Winter Weather Hits Marion County

State Climatologist Harry Hillaker says Marion County took the brunt of a winter storm that moved throught the state, leaving about an inch and a half of snow on the ground which casued numerous accidents around Marion County.

Sheriff Reports an Average Number of Accidents in Marion County During Thanksgiving Weekend

The Thanksgiving holiday weekend is one of the busiest times of the year for travelers, luckily the increase in motorists on the road last weekend didn’t result in a major increase in accidents in Marion County.

Goemaat: Deer-Car Season is Here, Be Careful
