An anhydrous leak occured north side of Knoxville near highway G44 yesterday evening, as reports came in at approximately 6:45pm. Knoxville Rural Fire Department, Knoxville Fire and Rescue, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Knoxville Police Department, Marion County Emergency Management and Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene.  According to an investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office a hose became detached from an anhydrous applicator and nurse tank in a field approximately 40 yards off of highway G44.
