There will be a breastfeeding fair Saturday from 10-2 at the new Marion County Public Health building. Julie Miller, with Marion County Public Health, says everyone in the community is welcome to come out. She says that they will go over myths and misconceptions of breastfeeding as well as talk about proper technique. Megan Day-Suhr, a lactational consultant from Marion County, says that breast-feeding helps build immunity in the baby, and could save families up to $1300 in the first year on formula.
