Though temperatures in the 30s and rain turning to snow were not the weather conditions the Central baseball team had hoped for in their season-opener, the Dutch were still able to find enough offense for a 5-3 win over Carleton College.  

After finishing the 2010 season with a record-breaking 27 wins, the Central College baseball team has broken another school record, by landing seven players on the All-Iowa Conference team.

Central College’s time in the Iowa Conference Baseball Tournament was brief, as another explosive inning by their opposition put the Dutch on the losing end of the score.
