Five Central College senior players have been named to a team of Division III football all-stars to compete in the Bowl of the Stars December 18 at the Tec de Monterrey Stadium near Mexico City.

Thirteen members of the Central College football team recently received all-Conference honors. 

Though they held the advantage in nearly every statistical category, the Central College football team came up short in the only category that matters – points – in a season-ending 20-17 loss to Wartburg Saturday.

The Central College football team enters today’s contest at home with Loras right in the thick of the race for the Iowa Conference title, following a shake-up in the standings last week.  

The Central College football team makes the long trek to Decorah today, as the Dutch will battle the Norse in a match-up of two of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the Iowa Conference.

Looking to begin the comeback trail after last week’s disappointing loss at Coe, the Central College football team traveled to Mount Vernon yesterday, and handed Cornell College a resounding 52-0 defeat.
