Central Softball Suffers First Conference Setbacks

In a battle of nationally-ranked softball teams jockeying for position atop the Iowa Conference standings, it was Luther College that was able to take advantage of scoring opportunities, as the No. 11 Norse handed No. 3 Central College their first conference losses of the season; 9-5 and 1-0 on Saturday.

Central College Weather Related Rescheduling

The scheduled Central’s women’s tennis match with Grinnell will be played Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex courts.

Friday’s Central softball doubleheader vs. St. Scholastica (Minn.) will start at noon instead of 3 p.m. The games will be played at Bollinger Fields in Eau Claire, Wis.
