More academic honors have come the way of the Central College Women’s Track and Field team. The Dutch were recently named a Division III All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). To earn the distinction, teams have to post a combined grade point average of 3.10 or higher. The Central women’s team was one of 106 teams to earn the honor, as the Dutch recorded a 3.16 GPA.

Previously six members of the Central women’s team earned All-Academic individual honors for posting a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and meeting the qualifying standard for at least one event in the NCAA Division III outdoor championships.
