The first seed in the 220lb bracket at the Dan Christensen Invitational at Central Decatur on Friday night lived up to the billing for the Pleasantville Trojans, as Chaz Clark placed first.

Daniel Kenyon for the Trojans also made a run at 195lbs, as he placed 5th. Clark received a double bye to start off the tournament, then took care of business against Connor Boehler of Martensdale-St. Mary’s by fall, Brady Howard of Panorama by technical fall, and then wrapping up the championship with a win by fall against Colton Kinnison of Red Oak. The Trojans will next wrestle on Thursday in a double dual at Southwest Valley along with I-35.
