Beginning today, those who travel on county road G-40 between highway 92 and Pleasantville will need to find an alternate route. According to the Marion County Engineer’s Office, the bridge over Coal Creek will be closed for removal and replacement and a detour will be posted for county road G-40 west of Pleasantville. The closure will continue through the remainder of the winter and this spring additional construction on county road G-40 will also affect traffic on Indiana Drive and 28th.
