Lasoski Takes Night 1 Of The 360 Nationals

Danny Lasoski had not won a 360 A-Main at the Knoxville Raceway since he won the 360 Nationals back in 1995, that 19 year dry spell came to an end last night in Night one of the 22nd Annual Arnold Motor Supply 360 Nationals as he held off a pesky Jonathan Cornell who would blow a tire coming down for the checkered flag to get the win.

Final Sprint Car Races For 2011 At Knoxville

While the 410 and 360 races will be nothing more than an official crowning of Danny Lasoski and Clint Garner’s respective track championships, the 305 points battle will likely go down to the final race with Carson McCarl leading Jamie Ball by 61 points. Tonight features the final sprint car races of the season at the Knoxville Raceway, and you can hear the action starting with Let’s Talk Racing on AM 1320 KNIA at 12:30. Our guest will be the aforementioned nine-time Track Champion Danny Lasoski, and now back-to-back-to-back 360 Champion Clint Garner; along with AMA motorcycle rider Justin Mees. Then tune in for Live Track Side at 5:30 p.m. and Race Night’s Live at 7:30 on KNIA/KRLS. Both programs can also be streamed live on kniakrls.com.

Knoxville Raceway Back At It With Tripleheader Of Racing Tonight

After a week off the, Knoxville Raceway comes alive tonight with a triple header of sprint car racing tonight. The 410s, 360s, and 305s will be running their next to last show for the 2011 season. The 410 and 360 races while not clinched have the leaders Danny Lasoski and Clint Garner respectively with sizable leads. Lasoski has a 209 point lead over second place Dusty Zomer, and Garner leads Chad Humston in the 360s by 215.5 points. The 305 points race is by far the closest with Jamie Ball leading Carson McCarl by a mere 14 points.
