Stingleman,Alyssa
A Marion County woman has been charged with a felony after assaulting three people, including a sheriff’s deputy, and destroying a padded jail cell.
18-year-old Alyssa Renee Stigleman of rural Marion County was arrested after a deputy was called to a home northwest of Melcher-Dallas. Victims said Stigleman slapped, pulled hair, and spit at them. The victims and the deputy attempted to calm her, but could not. The deputy believed her to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs. While being taken into custody Stigleman threatened, kicked, spit on, and bit a deputy causing injury. Stigleman was placed into a padded cell at the Marion County Jail. She ripped the padding off the floor in the cell, creating a large hole and put the padding down a drain, causing more than $1,000 in damage. Stigleman is charged with two counts of domestic abuse assault, assault on a peace officer causing bodily injury and criminal mischief in the second degree, a Class D Felony.
