The Knoxville Raceway will once again have sprint car racing tonight, however with a twist. The 410s and 360s will be in action as the 305s get the week off, the third part of the triple header is the Dirt Trucks out of Des Moines. Currently Davey Heskin fresh off his first win of the season last week leads the 410s while Clint Garner’s lead continues to grow in the 360s. A reminder to all drivers that there will be muffler inspections starting at two this afternoon at the raceway. The inspections come on the heels of Heskin and last week’s 360 winner Wayne Johnson having their mufflers confiscated because of possible modifications. After testing, it was concluded that the drivers did not alter the muffler and their wins were made official earlier this week.
