Des Moines Area Community College and Marion County Public Health have partnered to bring English as a Second Language Classes to Knoxville.

ESL classes will be offered to adults 18 and older to people with no English language skills to people with advanced English language skills. DMACC Academic Advisor, Andrea Gotta tells KNIA/KRLS News there are people in the community who need these classes and she is hoping to get as many students as possible to take the class. Gotta says classes will begin September 12th and run through November 30th and will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The classes are free to anyone who wishes to attend.
