Grassley Disappointed in VA’s Reply about Grounds Maintenance Contract

Last fall the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs awarded a $871,000 contract for grounds maintenance on the Knoxville VA campus despite bids from several local companies for more than half a million dollars less.

Grassley Questions the Mowing Contract for the Knoxville VA Campus

Upon receiving both written and verbal complaints from concerned Iowans, Senator Charles Grassley sent a letter to Eric K. Shinseki, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, in regards to the grounds maintenance contracted awarded for mowing services for the VA campus in Knoxville.
