Funeral services for Gerdena Bandstra, age 92, of Pella, will be held on Wednesday, May 19th at 10:30am at the Pella First Reformed Church. Visitation will be at 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 18th with the family present from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Pella First Reformed Church. Interment will be at the Stuart Cemetery in Taintor. Pella Garden Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Pella or the Children’s Habilitation Center in Johnston.

Bernice Vander Ploeg

Funeral services for Bernice Vander Ploeg, aged 81 of Pella, will be held on Friday April 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Reformed Church in Pella. The committal service will precede the memorial service at the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday morning at the First Reformed Church where the family will be present Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated for the Hospice of Pella Comfort House or the Alzheimer’s Association. The Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella is in charge of arrangements.

Coffee Break at First Reformed Church in Pella

Jesus promises to be with us in the “ups” and “downs” of our lives. Grasp that hope by studying God’s Word with other women in an informal setting in Coffee Break. Wednesday, September 16 at 9:45 a.m. will be our “kick-off” at the Faith Christian Reformed Church on University and East 12th. Got kids? Great!
