Great Southern Bank in Knoxville is helping local school children in need this holiday season.

The bank is accepting winter clothing donations to fill their Christmas tree. The donations will go to children grades K-12 in the Knoxville School District. Banking Center Manager Jana Bailey tells KNIA/KRLS News stocking caps, mittens, gloves, scarves, jackets, undergarments, sweatpants and socks are all needed and welcome. Donations can be dropped off at the bank on West Pleasant Street. The bank will be accepting donations until December 31.
